A new use for yarn?

Artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera has taken it upon herself to revitalize some of the cracked streets of Paris...by filling the holes with yarn! I'm not sure how well these colorful patches will hold up to wear and tear, but if nothing else, I'll bet there are some kaleidoscopic bird nests appearing in the branches of urban trees.
