- Hanover, NH: Priya Krishna (Ultimate Dining Hall Hacks) will be teaching Dartmouth College freshman how to hack their dining hall.
- Cambridge, MA: Paula Marcoux (Cooking with Fire) presents to the Culinary Historians of Boston at the Schlesinger Library.
Thursday, September 11
- Santa Rosa, CA: Jeannette Beranger (An Introduction to Heritage Breeds) will be giving a talk on heritage breed hogs at the National Heirloom Expo.
Friday, September 12
- Seven Springs, PA: The Mother Earth News Fair runs from September 12 – 14, and features authors Jeannette Beranger, Alison Martin, Barbara Pleasant, Spike Carlsen, Niki Jabbour, Nan Chase, Stephanie Tourles, Adam Danforth, Jessi Bloom, and Barbara Damrosch. - Saratoga Springs, NY: Jennifer Trainer Thompson (The Fresh Egg Cookbook, Hot Sauce!) will be talking to Healthy Living Market’s Cooking the Books Cookbook Club about The Fresh Egg Cookbook and answering all your questions about eggs and how to use them. The event is free, but registration is required.
- Charlottesville, VA: Paula Marcoux cooks in Monticello’s historic kitchens for a “Harvest to Hearth Experience” during the Heritage Harvest Festival.

- Boston, MA: Chef Bill Collins (Making & Using Vinegar, Knife Skills) drops by Trident Booksellers and Cafรฉ to demonstrate how to make your own vinegar.
Tuesday, September 16
- Wellesley, MA: Chef Bill Collins will be at Wellesley Books sharing information about how to choose and use knives for greater confidence in the kitchen. Tickets required.
Wednesday, September 17
- Freeport, ME: Margaret Radcliffe (Circular Knitting Workshop, The Essential Guide to Color Knitting Techniques) signs copies of her newest book, The Knowledgeable Knitter, at Casco Bay Fibers! Free event, registration required.
- Bryn Mawr, PA: Priya Krishna meets readers at Main Point Books.
Thursday, September 18
- Philadelphia, PA: Priya Krishna continues her Philadelphia tour with stops at The Cookbook Stall in Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal Market for a cookbook signing and demo, followed by a signing and talk at the University of Pennsylvania Bookstore.
Friday, September 19
- New Brunswick, NJ: Priya Krishna makes one more mid-Atlantic stop at Rutgers University.
Saturday, September 20
- Freeport, ME: Leslie Ann Bestor (Cast On, Bind Off, How to Knit) will be teaching a class at Casco Bay Fibers, demonstrating techniques from Cast On, Bind Off, with a book signing to follow. Class fee is $55 (includes a 10% discount on a copy of the book); signing is free.
Tuesday, September 23
- Boston, MA: Jennifer Trainer Thompson will be signing books at The Boston Public Market at Dewey Square from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
