I'm sorry to hear that Vermont is doing away with their syrup grades. There is a difference between A and B. B is darker and heartier tasting. A, is more delicate. Which is better is a matter of taste and recipe requirements, but generally, there's less A and it usually garners a premium price. Sounds to me as if they're going to mix the two. That means less choice and probably, as always happens, higher price point. Sigh. E Tu Vermont?
