Chick Days Giveaway: Vintage Hen Kitchen Timer

MyPetChicken.com has partnered with Storey Publishing to celebrate Chick Days. Every day of our Chick Day Eggstravaganza, MyPetChicken.com will be giving away a chicken-inspired gift!

All you have to do to enter is write a short response to each giveaway post. We will pick one winner at random for each giveaway posted, and we will announce the week's winners on Fridays — be sure to check back to Inside Storey each day!

Today's giveaway is the Black Hen Kitchen Timer.

Let us know why you would like to win this gift, if you own chickens, or if you want to raise chickens; give us your favorite chicken or egg recipe or tell us a funny chicken story; or just say “hello.” But remember, you must post to be entered to win.

We look forward to your responses!

Happy Chick Days from your friends at Storey Publishing & MyPetChicken.com.

I have 13 chickens in my backyard.

It's not easy to make the perfect hard boiled egg. Take them out too early and they're runny in the middle. Take them out too late, and you've got that ugly unappetizing grey ring. I think this would help.

I am getting 6 new chicks next week. I like wasabi and ginger in my deviled eggs and I LOVE that timer.

This timer is adorable! We only have a timer built into our microwave, and this would work beautifully in our kitchen!

It wouldnt seem like timeout if I used this on the kids.

I am frightened to death of chickens and absolutely terrified of the evil rooster on my borrowed farm so I don't really want the timer but I would like to take this opportunity to overcome my terror of all things with feathers.

I have chickens so it would be fun to have a chicken timer. I would use it for when I need to time lessons for the kids. I would keep it in our homeschool room.
