I just started learning to knit and crochet a few years ago. It really bugged me that I didn't know how to do any of the things that my aunts, grandmothers, and beyond knew how to do. I'm hooked! I especially love the natural fibers. I've noticed that some of my peers are picking up the craft as well, and I've even had several older women come to me asking for help. Long Live the Folk Arts!
